If your Issuetrak site is using AI integration, you might want to track usage of it, as AI token usage often comes with a cost from your AI provider.
You can do so by clicking the gear icon in the top right to open the Settings lightbox, then clicking AI Token Usage.
You can choose to Export the current usage data to CSV or Excel format, or Edit Columns to choose which columns appear on the screen.
What activity is shown here?
By default, the following information appears on the AI Token Usage screen.
- Feature - Displays what feature used the tokens.
- Source Type - Displays what the feature processed.
- Source Id - Displays the ID of the thing that was processed. If the Source Type is "Issue", then this will be the Issue number associated with it.
- User Id - Displays the user ID of the agent that triggered usage of this feature.
- Input Tokens Used - Displays how much information from your instance of Issuetrak was sent to the AI provider.
- Output Tokens Used - Displays how much information was sent from the AI provider to your instance of Issuetrak.
- Total Tokens Used - Displays the total of input/output tokens used for this particular line item.
Additional columns that are not displayed by default are:
- Model - The large language model that was used to process the information associated with the line item.
- Provider - The AI provider that was used to process the information associated with the line item.
Custom Reports
AI token usage is also available as a dataset in Custom Reports. This allows you to process the information like any other information available via Custom Reports.
