What is the CCPA?
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) is a new law that was enacted by the State of California in 2018 to provide California consumers with new rights related to their personal information. The CCPA took effect on January 1, 2020, and imposes various obligations on businesses that fall within its scope. These obligations include providing detailed notices to consumers regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information; providing consumers an opportunity to opt-out of the sale of their personal information; and giving consumers various rights in relation to their information, including the right of access and deletion.

Why does the CCPA apply to Issuetrak?
Some of Issuetrak’s clients may be considered “Businesses” under the CCPA and will be required to comply with these requirements, including with respect to personal information that is included in the data that they submit to our cloud-based applications. Issuetrak acts as a “Service Provider” under the CCPA with respect to this information, and processes it only at our clients’ direction.
I'm a Cloud customer. What are you doing to comply with the CCPA?
Issuetrak’s Cloud-Based Application Agreement already includes a Data Processing Addendum that limits Issuetrak’s use and disclosure of this information to the purpose of providing our-cloud-based services or as otherwise instructed by our clients, and our clients can rely on those contractual commitments as part of their own CCPA compliance programs. And to further support our clients’ CCPA compliance efforts, we are updating that Data Processing Addendum to expressly address the CCPA and Issuetrak’s status as a “Service Provider.”
I‘m a Cloud customer. What will you do if you receive an information request concerning information that’s stored on my site?
Issuetrak will not respond to requests concerning the personal information we store except as legally required and outlined in our Privacy Policy or in our Data Processing Addendum.
How can I contact Issuetrak with concerns about privacy or security?
You can email privacy@issuetrak.com with questions or concerns about Issuetrak's handling of personal information.
