AD - Self Service Password Reset

Information

To implement Self Service, the system setting must be activated and policies defined. This task can only be performed by an Issuetrak user with the “Sys Admin” parameter. In addition, users will need to be granted the permission “Can change their own password”, and the AD connection user will need to have the permission to change AD passwords.

If a user is locked out of the network, they will not be able to access Issuetrak and their password must be changed by a member of the Reset List (if used), or in AD by an AD administrator.

Steps

1

Navigate to Administration > System > System Settings > Password Policy.

2

Select “Activate Self-Service Password Reset.”
