AD - Mapping Departments

Information

If you have the AD Department field filled out, Issuetrak will make a direct match to the Department Name. If not, you’ll need to set up Group/OU mapping to your Issuetrak departments.


Steps

Scroll to the ‘Determining Department’ section of the Active Directory Server Information screen.

Enter an appropriate Group/OU in the field provided for “Active Directory Group/OU.”

Click the magnifying glass in the “Issuetrak Department” field to select the department to map to.

Click add.

(Optional) If you have additional departments that you need to include, repeat to map each Group/OU on this server to its corresponding department.

The message “Record updated successfully" will appear when the mapping has been saved.
